Need

Bermuda may be small, but our needs for blood are very large.

Not enough blood is donated annually to support the large needs for it.

Blood, having a very short shelf life, cannot be manufactured or imported at the moment, so it must be donated and we do not currently have enough donors on the island.

This is for a few reasons, the main ones being: most people that are eligible for donating are not aware of need for donation or simply do not want to for their own reasons.

Our overall need is awareness for this matter and in the case that we are able to perform a blood drive, our need will also be blood.
